Word Waves

‘Improve your English with Word Waves!’ Word Waves is a game designed to help English-learners improve their flow of English vocabulary. Players have sixty seconds to create as many words as possible using the letters that appear on screen. Longer words and words created in shorter amounts of time are rewarded with more points, encouraging players to improve the speed and complexity of their vocabulary. Word Waves records players’ scores over time, helping users track their progress and improvement. All of these aims and instructions are displayed at the beginning of the game: users have the option of viewing these instructions in six different languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Turkish, and Croatian), allowing all users – especially those with a more elementary understanding of English – to understand the game effectively.
